"A photo is a small voice, at best, but sometimes - just sometimes - one photograph or a group of them can lure our senses into awareness. Much depends upon the viewer; in some, photographs can summon enough emotion to be a catalyst to thought" - W. Eugene Smith
I have been to a few air shows over the years. They have never been easy shoots. The planes are often too far away for me to get a reasonable picture with my low-end lens. If not that, they flew too fast not to get motion blur. Often, I was relegated to taking boring “tourist pics” of planes sitting on the ground surrounded by lots of people or a bunch of noise.
My last attempt, in the summer of 2022, yielded some lucky shots. These pics with some slick post processing in Photoshop to replace the skies is what is represented in this gallery. Looking forward to the next one. Maybe with a better lens.
