"I'd like to think that the actions we take today will allow others in the future to discover the wonders of landscapes we helped protect but never had the chance to enjoy ourselves." - Annie Leibovitz
When I was younger, I participated in a bunch of camera club photo shoots. One we had every year was dedicated to learning about fashion photography and posing models. In preparation for building this gallery, I reviewed hundreds of pictures from those shoots. What I came to learn was taking pictures of people is probably the least developed of my photographic genres. To put it plainly, I pretty much suck at it. While there are a few in this gallery from those days, most are just a few lucky shots of friends and family. Learning to take dramatic pictures of people, the kind that tell a story, is another of my bucket list items. Just one time I’d like to get even close to telling a story like Annie Leibovitz does.
